In the depths of the ocean lies a world inhabited by an immense diversity of sentient beings. Did you know that fish, octopuses, and even crabs and shrimp can feel and experience emotions? In other words, they are more complex individuals than is commonly assumed.

In our short documentary, produced in collaboration between the Animal Ethics Foundation and the University of Santiago de Compostela, we explore the concept of sentience in marine life, interviewing leading figures in the world of science and philosophy, such as:
